TRAVELING TO CASEVILLE WITH THE STH GROUP
I bet your wondering.... what an STH Group is right? It's a group of girl friends that meet together once a month to celebrate a holiday or just have fun together. We sometimes invite our husbands or kids to some of our functions. Typically, we theme each gathering based on the holiday for that month and we decided to have a mascot for each of our parties. We named our mascot "Woody" and dress him up according to the theme or holiday of the month. The group is made up of about 10-15 girls. Occasionally, we see some new faces that like to join in on our fun. Many of them are our Facebook friends. Some of our group members/friends are depicted in this picture to the right. I'm the one to the direct right. We're a group of adult women around the age of 35-40. We all get together monthly and bring a dish to pass, we organize a few silly games to play and laughing over drinks. One or two times a year we have a function where we include our kids. We of course can't drink on those occasions but we have tons of other fantastic non-alcoholic beverages for us to enjoy along with munchies. The kids love to get together at these functions too.
Summer 2009 - Caseville, Michigan
In the summer of 2009, our STH (Sisterhood of The Traveling Horse) traveled to Caseville, Michigan for a day and night of fun. Before we left each of us coupled up and premade meals that we would all share once we arrived. We packed up our vechicles and one RV with our personal items, Halloween things and food. We all met up at our friend Jennifer's home since she had the RV and off we went to Caseville. There were tons of laughs on our way there and lots of bonding while camping. It got a bit crazy at night as we sat around the campfire and some stayed up super late and decided to take a late night walk on the beach in the blackness of night. Well, some things about camping are best left unsaid, lets just say there was a bit of screaming involved and running back to the campsite. Who would think that there was someone else lerking in the darkness down at the beach. We had so much fun we planned to do it the next year.
HALLOWEEN 2010 WITH THE STH GROUP
Halloween is my favorite time of the year. This year the STH group headed to my home to share in the Halloween Spirit together.
